(WHTM) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced that Werner has recalled over 100,000 ladders due to fall hazard.

According to the CPSC, approximately 122,250 Werner 20’ and 24’ Multi-Max Pro Multi-Purpose Ladders have been recalled because the ladders' locking mechanism can jam and not fully lock in place, posing a fall hazard.

Specifically, the recalled ladders have model numbers ALMP-20IAA or ALMP-24IAA.

To date, the firm has received 18 reports of falls, which include 14 reports of injuries resulting in bruising, lacerations, head injuries, and fractures to the wrist, leg, and ribs.
