New York Giants coach Brian Daboll was vague on Thursday about his playing time plans for front-line players in Saturday’s preseason game against the New York Jets.
“We have an idea,” Daboll said via Zoom. “We’ll do our meetings at the end of the day and make our decision on what we’re going to do.
“We’ll do what we think is best for the team.”
In Saturday’s preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills, Russell Wilson and the first-team offense played one series. The front-line defense played roughly the entire first quarter.
“Every game is different,” Daboll said. “Again, we’ll do what we think is right for our team.
