Asked how he handles toddler tantrums in public, Vance contrasted himself with his wife, Usha, who he said is “super patient” and tries to reason with their kids.

By comparison, Vance said, “If they have a tantrum in a public place, I immediately grab them, take them to the bathroom and say, ‘You got to cut the shit out.’” The Ohio Republican shared the anecdote after recounting how strangers often praise his wife’s calm parenting style.
