GREENDALE TWP, MI — A two-vehicle crash in Midland County has claimed the life of a 62-year-old man.

About 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash site at the intersection of West Isabella and South Coleman roads in Greendale Township. They determined Daniel Herron, 62, was driving a 2019 Kawasaki KAF400 north when he was struck by an eastbound 2021 Toyota Sienna driven by a 34-year-old Traverse City woman.

Herron was taken to MyMichigan Medical Center by ambulance, where staff pronounced him deceased. The Toyota’s driver was also taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The three juvenile passengers in the Toyota were not injured.
