BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of students moving back to the campus of the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) this weekend.

More than 1,000 students will move in to USCB Saturday and Sunday between the two campuses of Beaufort and Bluffton.

Move-ins will begin Saturday, Aug. 16 at 8 a.m. and will continue through 4 p.m. At the Bluffton campus, some students will also move in Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Near the Bluffton campus, delays and congestion can be expected around campus and the New River Shopping Center. The East Campus Drive entrance to campus will be closed to all traffic during the weekend.

Similar delays can be expected for the Beaufort campus near Newcastle, Calhoun and Chur
