Disney has renewed a popular children’s series.
Less than one month after its season 1 premiere, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” has been renewed for two more seasons. The animated interactive show had the biggest original Disney Jr. launch in Disney+’s history.
“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+” is a revival of “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” which aired on Disney Channel’s pre-school block from 2006-2016. Those who watched the original series will recognize two songs in the revival: the opening theme and “Hot Dog,” both of which were written and performed by the alternative rock band They Might Be Giants.
Disney+ confirmed Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+’s renewal while announcing two new children’s series: “Cars: Lightning Racers” and “Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends.”
