A woman who died in a murder-suicide in her Raynham home on Friday was remembered by her family as a “creative soul” who loved the outdoors, her obituary read.
On Aug. 8, Raynham police responded to 134 Elm St. West shortly after noon and found 37-year-old Marie Hunt and 35-year-old Mark Henshaw dead in a locked second-floor bedroom, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III’s office said previously. Both were lying on a bed and declared dead within an hour.
Henshaw had been shot once in the head, while Hunt was shot in the abdomen. The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Henshaw killed Hunt and then himself, Quinn’s office said.
