ISLETA PUEBLO, N.M. —

High levels of E.coli have been found in the Rio Grande near Isleta Pueblo.

According to an executive order issued by the Isleta Pueblo governor, high levels of E.coli were found in the Rio Grande.

The order directs the pueblo community to avoid swimming and fishing in the river.

The pueblo governor says in the order that the public drinking water supply is not affected.
