CONCORD, N.H. —
A Concord woman who was a teenager when she was convicted in connection with her mother's killing was granted parole Thursday.
Nicole Kasinskas pleaded her case to the parole board Thursday morning, describing the work she has done in prison since she was convicted for her role in her mother's death.
Kasinskas was 16 in 2003 when her boyfriend at the time, William Sullivan, killed her mother, Jeanne Dominico. Sullivan hit Dominico with a baseball bat and stabbed her more than 40 times.
Kasinskas plotted with Sullivan and was convicted in 2005 of second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. She was sentenced to 40 years in prison and has served 22 years.
