CLAY COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) - The man accused of a fatal shooting on a North Kansas City highway has been captured in Alabama.
Twenty-four-year-old Ray Von McCall is in custody in Mobile, Alabama, after an arrest Aug. 12 by Mobile Police, Clay County Prosecutor Zachary Thompson announced.
McCall, a Mobile, Alabama, native, was charged with murder earlier this week after a shooting killed a driver on Monday in the area of 210 Highway and I-35.
He faces charges in Clay County for second-degree homicide, armed criminal action and shooting a firearm at or from a motor vehicle causing physical injury or death.
McCall remains in Alabama pending extradition to Missouri.
The shooting killed 33-year-old Deandre Ferguson.
