Howard County is joining forces with the Howard County Public School System and Howard Community College to close distance on the county’s climate and sustainability goals through a second solar power purchase agreement.

A Memorandum of Understanding signed by each of the partners on Aug. 11 provides a framework to collaborate on clean energy, transportation, waste management, stormwater, nature-based climate solutions, ecosystem services, emergency management, infrastructure and heat resiliency, education, and community engagement campaigns and programs.
