WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A service member of the 104th Fighter Wing was ejected from an F-15 aircraft on the flightline at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield on Tuesday.
A video circulating on social media shows a military fighter jet traveling on the tarmac, with the tail code identified as Massachusetts. As the plane moves down the runway, a person can be seen off to the side working to stand up.
Media relations for the 104th Fighter Wing at Barnes Air National Guard Base told 22News that at around 2:05 p.m. on Tuesday, a ground mishap occurred on the flightline involving two members. One of the crew members was ejected from an F-15D Eagle aircraft and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. No injuries were reported.
All flight operations were suspended for 36 hours and h
