LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - Local and state child protection advocates are warning about the growing threat of online exploitation.
The arrest of a middle school librarian in Longmeadow on child pornography charges has prompted a strong response from the Massachusetts Children's Alliance and local advocates, urging community vigilance to protect kids online and in person.
In a public letter shared with 22News, Thomas M. King, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Children's Alliance and Longmeadow resident, called the case "troubling and deeply upsetting." He emphasized that protecting children begins with reporting suspected abuse.
