CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- An Indian Trail man is facing serious charges after a violent attack involving a machete and brass knuckles outside a Charlotte bar, authorities said.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department records, the attack happened around 2 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, at a bar in the 300 block of Brevard Street in uptown Charlotte.
When CMPD officers arrived, they found a man outside a bar with a severe cut on his left hand. Nearby, they also found the suspect, identified as Matthew Terry King, 39, covered in blood, with a large machete-style blade and brass knuckles at a table next to him.
