MAITLAND, Fla. – Maitland police and firefighters responded Thursday afternoon to a crash involving a SunRail train and a vehicle.

The crash occurred just after 1 p.m. at the intersection of Packwood Avenue and Maitland Avenue, the Maitland Fire Rescue Department said on social media . SunRail train hits car in Maitland (Copyright 2025 by WKMG ClickOrlando - All rights reserved.)

The fire department advised motorists to find different routes while SunRail said the police activity had delayed trains P318 NB and P321 SB by 20 minutes.
