LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The man arrested last week for robbing a bank and assaulting a woman could face life in prison if convicted.

Armond Langford, 32, was arrested last Friday after police said he kidnapped a woman with her children in a vehicle before driving to a bank in east Louisville and demanding money. On Tuesday, he was indicted by a Jefferson County jury on the following counts:

Kidnapping (Class A)—one count

Kidnapping (Class B)—two counts

Assault in the First Degree—one count

Robbery in the First Degree—five counts

Burglary in the First Degree—one count

Fleeing or Evading Police in the First Degree (Pedestrian)—one count

Wanton Endangerment in the First Degree (Police Officer)—one count

The trial jury will determine if Langford meets the criteria for being a Persistent Fel
