One of the founding members of an American prog rock band has given a major health update.

Louder Sound reports that Steve Babb — who co-founded Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Glass Hammer together with Fred Schendel in 1992 — had revealed that a tumor had been discovered in his brain back in June.
“I hadn’t been feeling myself for a long time, and it was getting worse,” said Babb via social media post . “In mid-June, I was sent for an MRI that revealed a golf ball-sized brain tumor (meningioma).
“This was not on my radar at all and came completely unexpected. I was told it was probably benign, and thank God, that turned out to be the case. About two weeks ago, I underwent a craniotomy to have it removed. According to a follow-up MRI the sam
