The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office says 38-year-old Keith Auzenne was sentenced to eight years in prison for the crimes.
In Sept. 2024, Auzenne’s girlfriend was driving an SUV when the two began arguing. She attempted to pull over and get out of the vehicle, but Auzenne kept her from leaving.
Investigators say that at some point during the fight, Auzenne forced her to get in the backseat and began driving. He sped up to 104 miles per hour while holding his girlfriend down.
However, the SUV then hit a curb and went airborne, crashing through a block wall and traveling more than 100 feet before colliding with an apartment porch
