GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —

A man wanted for fatally shooting a woman in the neck is in custody after a three-hour standoff in Greenville County, South Carolina, on Thursday morning.

The shooting happened on Tuesday in Fairfield County, South Carolina.

Deputies with the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office said they were called to a home and when they arrived they found a woman unresponsive and another person with a gunshot wound.

Investigators said an argument happened in the home and a man, later identified as Jerry Jones, of Greenville, shot a woman in the neck and another person in the hip.

The woman who was shot was identified as Laporsha Jasma Farr, 37, of Spartanburg. She died at the home.
