A 35-year-old mother assaulted a teen girl who was sparring with her daughter at a New York high school, authorities say.
The Suffolk County Police Department said in a press release that officers responded around 11 a.m. Tuesday to Brentwood High School on Long Island for a fight. According to cops, a 14-year-old girl was walking out of the school when she started "exchanging words" with a 15-year-old. Instead of breaking up the fight, the older girl's mother, Toni Moore, took out a metal water bottle and walloped her daughter's rival multiple times in the head, cops allege.
A security guard intervened and cops arrested Moore in the parking lot a short time later. She stands accused of second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The teen was taken to the hospital with
