A Tropical Storm building over the Atlantic could have an impact on the UK's weather next week, according to the latest verdict from the Met Office.

Developments on the other side of the planet could influence the UK’s weather from Monday, but it'll be another few days until we know the scale of the impact.

The Met Office's latest 10-day outlook suggests a "more complex picture than usual" as another Tropical Storm develops, hot on the heels of Dexter, which caused temperatures in the UK to soar at the start of this week.

Towards the end of this week, high pressure is likely to build back up, the Met Office said, with warm and even hot conditions for many. However, a change in wind direction could bring cooler and cloudier weather along eastern coasts.
