The city of Chandler and the Chandler Unified School District have partnered to expand career readiness opportunities for local high school students. Through a $10,000 investment from the city, more students were able to earn industry-recognized credentials during the 2024–25 school year.

The one-time allocation, initiated by Chandler City Council members Jane Poston and Angel Encinas, was used to support CUSD’s efforts in both career exploration and credentialing across its high schools.

A portion of the funding supported the Build 4 Tomorrow Career Expo, which was hosted March 6 at Perry High School. That annual event connects students with local industry partners and post-secondary institutions, helping them explore a range of career paths.
