BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A woman arrested in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash now faces a manslaughter charge, according to officials.
An East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury returned a true bill on Wednesday, Aug. 13, indicting Taquencya Harris, 35, of Baker, on the following charges:
Manslaughter (1 count)
Hit-and-run with serious bodily injuries (2 counts)
Obstruction of justice (1 count)
All charges are related to an incident that happened on March 30 on Plank Road near Chippewa Street in Baton Rouge.
