ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans Food Markets is recalling its Medium Camembert Soft Ripened Cheese, and other products containing this cheese, because of potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The affected products were sold in the cheese department at all Wegmans stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

Fortunately, no illnesses associated with the recall have been reported at this time: however, customers are warned not to consume the products and to return them for a full refund.
