FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A man wanted for murder in connection to a 2015 killing was arrested Thursday by Fort Wayne police.

Raphael Helton, 63, was booked into the Allen County Jail on a murder warrant. He's accused in the 2015 homicide of his roommate, who was found dead in a closet.

The coroner’s report at the time said Michael J. Fedock, 67, died from multiple blunt force injuries. According to court documents, investigators determined he died sometime between Feb. 25 and March 28, 2015.

It’s unclear why Helton is just now being charged; police wrote in court documents Helton’s DNA was found on the roll of duct tape used to tie up Fedock in the closet.
