Connor Stalions and Central Michigan have played coy for nearly two years.

But according to a just-released and long-anticipated NCAA report, Stalions did finally admit to the NCAA that it was indeed him who was on the sidelines of a Central Michigan game at Michigan State in October 2023, dressed in CMU maroon and gold and wearing a goatee while he still was a Michigan staff member.

Stalions, the former Michigan staffer at the center of the elaborate sign-stealing scandal that came to light as Michigan was on its way to winning the 2023 national championship, received an eight-year show-cause penalty from the NCAA, effective Friday.
