Union County Public Health temporarily suspended operating permits for food establishments and facilities that received water from the city of Monroe -- except for those with approved emergency water supply plans -- following a systemwide boil water notice, officials announced late Wednesday night. Part of that notice was lifted Thursday about 12 hours later.
