FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Snowboarders and skiers only have to wait about 100 days before they can begin hitting the slopes of the Arizona Snowbowl.
The facility located north of Flagstaff announced its start date for the 2025-2026 winter season is projected to be Nov. 21, depending on how the weather patterns play out.
An abundance of snow during last year's season allowed the Snowbowl to remain open to visitors for 185 days and end with a rare closing date of June 1. In addition, the Snowbowl recorded its earliest opening date last season.
Earlier this summer, Snowbowl officials announced they were investing $1.5 million on making capital improvements to the facility. These upgrades include new snowboard and ski rental equipment and expanding Wi-Fi coverage throughout the resort.
