SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The 2025 Special Olympics Florida Stand-up Paddle (SUP) Competition will take place Saturday, Aug. 16 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota.

The event will feature 155 athletes competing in various SUP races.

Special Olympics Florida Regional Director Jessica Ott and athlete leader Tim Rabbu were on ABC7 News at Noon Aug. 13 to talk about the event and Special Olympics.
