NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) — A homeless man was arrested Thursday morning following an alleged stabbing in a parking lot, according to the Norwich Police Department.

Two adult victims were found in the vicinity of the Sam’s Food Store located on Central Avenue in the early morning hours. Both victims had puncture wounds and were treated at Backus Hospital, police said.

The suspect, 32-year-old Wendell Boateng-Moses, allegedly fled on foot prior to the arrival of Norwich police. He was apprehended with the assistance of Connecticut State Police and Montville police.

Boateng-Moses was charged with two counts of second-degree breach of peace, two counts of first-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon, and failure to submit fingerprints.
