SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — Two busloads of children and staff were asked to leave a South Windsor splash pad due to "overcrowding," according to the town manager.
South Windsor Town Manager Michael Maniscalco said that the children showed up "unexpectedly" and that their presence impacted residents ability to safely and comfortably use the facility.
He continued by saying that they offered the playground and other parts of the park to the group. He emphasized that had the group called ahead and worked with the Parks and Recreation department, they would have been able to stay.
