JAYTON, Texas (KCBD) - The No. 1 Jayton Jaybirds are the End Zone Team of the Week.

They capped off the 2024 season as 1AD2 State Champions after defeating Oakwood 54-8 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

An undefeated season and the Jaybirds’ first Football State Title in 39 years.

Most of the team now turns towards basketball as they look to protect their State Basketball Title of a year ago. Big things continue to happen in Jayton.
