A woman-owned boutique in the Short North is gradually preparing for its permanent closure.

Happy Go Lucky Home & Her had a May 29 Facebook post announcing the shop's slow closure . However, an official closing date remains undetermined.

The shop has sat in the Short North Arts District, at 787 N. High St., for 14 years, after relocating from Pennsylvania in 2011. Happy Go Lucky expanded to include a women's apparel shop in 2014.

The owner, Debbie Neimeth, decided to retire this year, and the store is currently awaiting a new tenant to take over the space, according to Hannah Miller, assistant manager of the shop.
