WACO, Texas — Baylor football is bringing back a familiar look in 2025.
The Bears announced Thursday that the program will reintroduce chrome helmets as part of its uniform lineup this season, marking the first time the team has worn the look in nearly eight years.
Baylor first debuted the chrome helmets in 2013, wearing them through the 2017 season during one of the most successful stretches in program history. The helmets became a signature look while the Bears won back-to-back Big 12 championships, advanced to four straight bowl games and put up explosive offensive numbers in college football.
