PHOENIX — A Valley animal shelter is at full capacity and needs help freeing up space.

The Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) announced Thursday that it is currently caring for more than 330 animals, including more than 50 dogs at their main shelter in Phoenix.

So, to help free up space and help dogs find a “furever” home, the shelter will be offering free adoptions for all dogs and puppies on Saturday.

The main shelter, which is located near 40th and Washington streets, will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day.
