SHELBY, NC — The 2025 American Legion World Series is set to kick off on Friday, and a few recent graduates from Le Roy High School are set to participate with the 468 American Legion baseball team based out of Greece, NY.

Jake Higgins and Peter Clark, both members of the 2025 Le Roy varsity baseball team that finished as the Section V Class B1 runners-up, are set to play for the World Series title as a part of a Greece Legion team that cruised to victories in the New York State Legion title game and claimed the Northwest Regional title.
