PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has ruled out many of his starters against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday.

Tomlin says that quarterback Aaron Rodgers, wide receiver DK Metcalf, cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and Darius Slay outside linebackers T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith, inside linebacker Patrick Queen, kicker Chris Boswell, and interior defensive lineman Cam Heyward will all not play so others can have more opportunity.

Tomlin is hoping to see growth from his team over the next few weeks leading up to their first game, and singled out running back Kaleb Johnson as someone who he would like to see smooth out his game.
