AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. (WCTV) - Around 500 of Tallahassee’s most prominent business and government leaders filled Amelia Island Thursday for the annual Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Conference.

The conference kicked off Thursday and will last four days.

The Chamber has faced criticism for holding the annual event outside of Tallahassee in the past. However, the organization said that this decision allows capital city community leaders to focus their undivided attention.

During the annual meeting, attendees are expected to discuss Leon County’s comprehensive plan, the use of Artificial Intelligence in business, “Shark Tank” style pitches, golf, pickleball and a keynote on “Building the Future: Commercial Real Estate, Growth, and the Tallahassee Vision.”
