Alabama will face Kennesaw State in the 2025 Rocket City Classic at Von Braun Center Propst Arena on Dec. 21, Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle announced Thursday.

This marks Alabama's second consecutive appearance at the Rocket City Classic, following last year's preseason exhibition against Memphis.

The game features Kennesaw State, led by former Alabama star and assistant coach Antoine Pettway.

“College basketball has never been bigger in the state and we’re excited to welcome Alabama and Kennesaw State back to Huntsville this year,” Battle said.

The Crimson Tide are coming off a strong season with a 28-9 record and a trip to the Elite Eight. Alabama head coach Nate Oats expressed enthusiasm about facing Kennesaw State.
