STOWE, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Folk-pop singer-songwriter Noah Kahan is going to be returning to his home state for a benefit concert.
The concert will be part of an event called "Folk & Fairways," which will include a golf tournament at Spruce Peak in Stowe. The event will begin September 30 and Kahan will perform Wednesday, October 1 outdoors on the Village Green.
All of the proceeds from the two concerts will go towards Kahan's mental health initiative, The Busyhead Project. The initiative aims at "providing resources and information needed to end the stigma around mental health."
Kahan, from Strafford, is best known for his 2022 album "Stick Season." He has often written of his gratitude to the Green Mountain State, and performed a show to aid recovery after the July 2023 floods.
