FAIRMONT, N.C. (WBTW) -- A Lumberton man is still wanted on attempted-murder charges following a shooting early Sunday morning left another man critically injured in the Robeson County town of Fairmont, police said.
Alex Rogers, who goes by the nickname "Pokey," is wanted on three counts for first-degree attempted murder in connection with the shooting, which happened at about 1:40 a.m. on Thompson Street, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries but remains in stable condition.
Three others are already in custody at the Robeson County Detention Center. They are: Brianna Hunt, 26, of Lumberton; Kareem "Nut" Mcleod, 26, of Fayetteville; and Dominique "Domo" Battle, 23, of Elizabethtown. They're charged with attempted first-degree murder, conspiracy to commi
