EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Ivy Tech Evansville and their commercial driver's license partner Drive Co is planning a "Touch a Truck" event.

It's an opportunity for people to learn about the over the road truck driving field. The event is on August 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the north parking lot of Ivy Tech's campus.

People will be able to apply for the CDL program and learn ways to help pay tuition for the program. The event is free and open to the public.
