DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A fire at a Davenport beauty shop was set intentionally, according to fire investigators.
Around 4:20 a.m. Thursday, firefighters with the Davenport Fire Department went to the 1600 block of Harrison Street for a fire alarm, according to a media release.
When crews got there, officials said, they found Celebrity’s Beauty Supply dark with light smoke throughout the main floor and found broken glass on the front of the building.
Officials said the sprinkler system turned on and put out the fire.
Crews used fans to ventilate the building and said no one was inside during the fire. Officials said no injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation.
