Giants rookie edge rusher Abdul Carter is pretty confident it won’t take him long to flash his skills at the NFL level.

The No. 3 overall pick of this year’s draft told fans on social media on Wednesday that he won’t cut his hair until he gets his first career sack.

“Excuse me if you see me & I’m looking a lil rough, not getting haircut til I get a sack,” he wrote.

After Wednesday’s joint practice between the Giants and Jets, Carter was asked if his hair was the longest it’s ever been.

“Yeah, for sure, but it won’t be like this for long,” he said.

Expectations will be high for both Carter and the Giants’ defense in general this season. Carter joins a defense that already features Dexter Lawrence , Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns , giving the unit a chance to be truly formida
