WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — The Winter Haven Police Department said Thursday officers were investigating a "possible abduction" that happened at a local gas station.

However, the incident was soon dismissed as "horseplay" after police said they located the vehicle involved and all occupants were safe.

According to authorities, one of the occupants jumped out of the car at a light and ran through an intersection before walking to the gas station.

"What is seen in the video was basically horseplay trying to get him back into the car," police said in an emailed update Thursday.

Police said the incident unfolded around noon on Thursday, Aug. 14 at the RaceTrac gas station located at 934 Havendale Blvd.
