Bill Belichick will kick off “Carolina Football Live,” the Tar Heels ’ weekly radio show, on Aug. 27 from Top of the Hill Restaurant and Brewery in Chapel Hill.

But Belichick , a six-time Super Bowl champion as head coach of the NFL’s New England Patriots, will hand the mic off to general manager Michael Lombardi for the final 10 weeks of the 2025 season. UNC radio play-by-play announcer Jones Angell and Lombardi will headline the show each week, as well as various assistant coaches and athletes, according to a news release sent by UNC on Aug. 14.
