At their August meeting, the Coweta Board of Education approved three separate federally-funded grants that collectively provide more than $320,000 to be used in the development of agricultural education at the Central Educational Center and the three county high schools.
The Federal Perkins V Career Technical and Agricultural Education Program Improvement and Professional Development grants provided $214,430 to be used for the purchase of CTAE-related equipment, professional development, and program improvement for CTAE programs and courses, according to the Board’s August agenda.
The school system received $25,000 from the Federal Perkins Plus Reserve Grant, which will allow students who are completing CTAE pathways at the Central Educational Center or the three public high schools the
