Cathedral City is repairing a stretch of Date Palm Drive damaged during a major 2023 storm, Hilary, and the cleanup efforts that followed.

The repairs will cost just over $3 million, most of it covered with federal funds.

The work will also include measures aimed to limit damage during future storms.
