EAGAN, Minn. - Mike Vrabel couldn’t have been happy watching J.J. McCarthy carve up his defense during Day 2 of the joint practices with the Minnesota Vikings.

Whether it was red zone, or two-minute drill, the Patriots defense got smoked by McCarthy and the Vikings offense.

Vrabel also couldn’t have been pleased with his offensive line, once again getting manhandled by the Vikings pass rush.

Safety Jaylinn Hawkins summed up Vrabel’s thoughts.

“His message was just basically, we gotta find it,” Hawkins said. “We haven’t arrived. We’ve gotta lot to work towards, and we got to keep going and going towards that goal.”
