Denzel Washington is sharing his brutally honest thoughts on the Oscars.

If you didn’t know, the 70-year-old actor has been nominated for 10 Academy Awards over the years, winning two: first in 1990 for Glory then again in 2002 for Training Day .

While promoting his new movie Highest 2 Lowest , Denzel shared an interview why he’s “not that interested” in winning Oscars.

“I don’t do it for Oscars. I really don’t care about that kind of stuff,” Denzel said about the roles he takes while appearing on Jake Hamilton ‘s podcast Jake’s Takes .
